QLogitek a Worldwide Finalist for the 2011 Microsoft Application Integration Partner of the Year Award
Toronto (June 23, 2011) - Today, QLogitek announced it has been selected as a worldwide finalist for the Microsoft Application Integration Partner of the Year Award.
“Integration forms the foundation of the technology services that we provide to each of our customers, whether they are on-premise systems development services or cloud-based services,” said Isa Qureshi, EVP and COO at QLogitek. “It is therefore truly an honour to be nominated as one of three worldwide finalists in Microsoft’s key awards category that recognizes excellence in integration and moreso, to be the sole Canadian company recognized in this category. To be accredited at the global level speaks to the broad market impact of QLogitek’s solutions which span today more than 170 countries.”
Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 3,000 entrants worldwide. The Application Integration Partner of the Year Award honours partners who have delivered a remarkable solution in the middleware and integration space with Microsoft Application Platform products, such as Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Azure AppFabric, or Microsoft Commerce Server. This award recognizes QLogitek as having the best solution to solve a customer's significant pain point while leveraging the integration capabilities of the platform.
“We are proud to recognize this outstanding group from our highly valued worldwide partner network as our 2011 Partner Award finalists,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “We applaud the unique perspective and creativity each of these companies brings to solving customer business and technology challenges. Our strong partnership along with their commitment to customers plays an essential role in our mutual, long-term success.”
QLogitek has been aligning its efforts with Microsoft since 1999 and many of the company's successes have been the first of their kind for a Canadian organization, such as becoming Microsoft's first supply chain management go-to partner in 2002. In 2010, QLogitek was also selected by Microsoft as a top finalist in the Service Oriented Architecture and Business Process awards category, making this the second consecutive year that the company has achieved worldwide finalist standing.
