Webinar: Building a 21st Century Retail Supply Chain

supply chain software webinar The top two business challenges facing retail supply chain executives in this economy are increased lead times for the delivery of products to stores and low inventory turns, according to Aberdeen’s Retail research. These business challenges are causing higher supply chain costs and leading to lower than average attainment of gross margin return on inventory (GMROI), fill rate, cash conversion cycle, and forecast accuracy.

As a further testament to these business pressures, 75% of retailers are reporting that they are performing under-par or at par when compared to their competitors on core supply chain demand & supply-side capabilities. The question for a Retail Executive is clear: What am I doing to prepare for the recovery in light of these challenges and what are my competitors doing that I need to know about?

Three pillars (key imperatives) that directly impact retail business results today are:
  1. Consumer demand planning
  2. Collaborative supply chain
  3. Integrated planning and execution of retail supply chain logistics
To compare your business strategies with Best-in-Class peers and address performance gaps, come and join the Aberdeen & SCL webinar that will outline a strategy to improve business results and prepare for the coming upturn in the economy.
