Latiq Qureshi – President and Chief Executive Officer

Latiq Qureshi is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the company.  He has been the President and CEO of QLogitek since its inception in 1999.  Mr. Qureshi founded QLogitek’s parent company, Logitek Data Sciences Ltd. – a systems integration and professional services firm – in 1976.  With 35 years of successful business and technology experience, Mr. Qureshi is committed to thought leadership, innovation and customer service excellence.  He is both an entrepreneur and a gifted technician and has successfully built his companies on the strength of his visionary leadership, unrelenting conviction and in-depth technology acumen.

The Government of Canada recognized Mr. Qureshi with the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for his commitment, perseverance and support for community leadership.

Isa Qureshi – Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Isa Qureshi is responsible for the day-to-day duties of the company’s operations in sales, marketing, finance, product development and solution delivery. His mandate is to deliver profitable growth and exceptional customer service. Mr. Qureshi joined the company in 2006 after spending six years at Microsoft Canada. While at Microsoft, he worked as a Senior Enterprise Strategy Consultant helping sell, plan and deliver strategic IT initiatives working primarily with offices of the CIO of Fortune 1000 companies. In 2004, Mr. Qureshi was awarded the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award, Microsoft’s highest achievement for worldwide service excellence. Mr. Qureshi’s background in software product development and customer implementation is what helps position QLogitek’s innovative product strategy at the forefront of today’s industry.

Mr. Qureshi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario.

John Magalhaes – Executive Vice President, Technology Solutions

John Magalhaes oversees new product development and provides strategic leadership and guidance to senior management.  Mr. Magalhaes has been with QLogitek since its inception in 1999, and had joined QLogitek’s parent company, Logitek Data Sciences Ltd., in 1985.  Mr. Magalhaes possesses more than 30 years corporate experience in information technology. In roles at The Hudson’s Bay Company and Canada Post Corporation he shepherded the successful establishment of critical IT functions including application development, technology infrastructure architecture, operations support and customer support services. Mr. Magalhaes has accepted increasingly senior leadership roles overseeing multi-million dollar projects spanning over his lengthy career, assuming roles like Director of Technology, key support functions and other executive positions responsible for technology transformations for multi-national organizations.

Mr. Magalhaes is a results-oriented leader who has successfully combined a deep technology competency with broad business acumen to deliver mission critical projects and forward-looking business solutions.

Shekhar Patil - Executive Vice President, IT Services

Shekhar Patil is responsible for overseeing professional and technology resourcing services. Mr. Patil founded High-Tech Consulting Inc. in 2000, and also served as CEO of this global I.T. services firm. In 2010, upon QLogitek’s acquisition of High-Tech Consulting Inc., Mr. Shekhar joined the QLogitek Executive Team. Mr. Patil also founded Sterling I.T. Solutions, an infrastructure-centric business. He has been involved in a number of I.T. companies in the U.S. and Canada in both advisory and consultancy capacities, assisting these companies in catering to staff augmentation and project delivery, both on and off shore.

Mr. Patil has a Bachelor of Engg. from Bombay, India. He also holds a Masters in Engg. from the Technical University of Nova Scotia and an MBA from St. Mary’s University in Halifax.
