|  John Truman retired in May 2005 from RBC Group as SVP and Head of Technology for RBC Insurance. During a 31 year career with RBC, he also served in a similar role as SVP and Head of Technology for RBC Investments and in other senior IT management roles in banking and infrastructure support. He was active in other IT community development and standards groups, chairing committees at different times for the Canadian Bankers Association, the INTERAC Association and the Centre for the Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto. Mr. Truman has also served the broader community through roles such as Past Director of the United Way of Oakville.
